Hi, I'm Julia.

From a young age, I've always had a passion for illustration as well as the life sciences. I was traditionally trained in Scientific Illustration at
Arcadia University where I earned my Bachelor of Arts. During my studies, I noticed a communication barrier between patients and healthcare professionals. This inspired me to pursue my graduate education at Rochester Institute of Technology where I earned my Master of Fine Arts in Medical Illustration.

I currently work as a medical illustrator and visual communications specialist where I design in 2D illustrations and animations for use in the litigation graphics sphere. I'm passionate about both science and art, specifically in the realm of patient education, surgery, cutting edge research, natural science, and more. My work is all about bringing complex ideas to life with compelling visuals that are clear, accurate, and beautiful. I am in the process of becoming a Certified Medical Illustrator.

In my free time, I love to experiment with cooking, check out museums and galleries, travel, and can always be found enjoying an iced coffee.
